The series of photographs has been nominated and awarded the second prize at the World Photography Awards 2015 – the world’s largest annual photography contest. The original series is also supplemented with new work that has been conceived by the author as a reflection of her creative experience in pursuit of the ways to capture memory and imagination through the medium of photography. Later the series was featured in several solo shows tiled “Faraway Unknown”.
